Favorite Scripture

Isaiah 48: 18-20

"If only you had paid attention to my commands, your peace would have been like a river, your well-being like the waves of the sea. Your descendants would have been like the sand, your children like its numberless grains; their name would never be blotted out nor destroyed from before me. Leave Babylon, flee from the Babylonians! Announce this with shouts of joy and proclaim it. Say, 'The Lord has redeemed his servant Jacob.'"

A Bit About Me

Desiree Rodgers serves as the Executive Church Administrator at Liberty Christian Center, where she finds great joy working under the visionary leadership of her parents, Apostles Ronell and Harriette Rodgers. As the oldest daughter, Desiree embraces the honor of continuing the legacy established by her grandmother, Vivian B. Robinson, and remains steadfast in advancing God’s vision for this local house.

Passionate about seeing the church thrive beyond traditional walls, Desiree champions initiatives that extend God’s love into the community through outreach, education, and holistic support. She is deeply committed to bridging the gap between behavioral health and spiritual wellness, dispelling the myth that healing can only occur through traditional spiritual means. Desiree believes true restoration comes from addressing the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—through integrated approaches that honor both biblical truth and clinical insight.

A lifelong learner and servant leader, Desiree has a BA in psychology and MS in Clinical Mental Health counseling both from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and holds a 2nd graduate degree in General Human Services from Capella University. She is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) and the Owner and Executive Director of Comprehensive Interventions Inc., where she has devoted her career to program development, leadership, and transformative service in the human services field. Her work reflects a commitment to excellence and innovation in behavioral health and community care.

Desiree is a proud and active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., valuing the principles of sisterhood, scholarship, and service. Her personal philosophy centers on maintaining a “spirit of excellence” in all endeavors.
